The Arthur County Wolves won the last time they faced the Hyannis Longhorns, and things went their way on Saturday too. Arthur County rang in the new year with a 44-31 victory over Hyannis. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Arthur County.
Jaedin Johns was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Arthur County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Wenzel, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
Arthur County's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Hyannis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Arthur County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brady at 4:00 p.m. Hopefully Brady focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Hyannis, they will head out on the road to face off against Sandhills Valley on Saturday.
