The Calvary Christian Warriors had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They claimed a resounding  35-7 victory over Lakeland Christian at home. The result was nothing new for Calvary Christian, who have now won five matches by 24  points or more  so far this season.
 Calvary Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jacob Drackett led the charge by throwing for 147 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sean Cuono, who rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
 Calvary Christian's win was  their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-2. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Lakeland Christian,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-3.
 Calvary Christian will head out on the road to face off against Dunedin at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Dunedin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Lakeland Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ambassadors Christian Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
