The Norco Cougars can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Santiago by a score of 80-72. The victory was just what Norco needed coming off of a 97-77 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Kameron Brown, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Mendias, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Norco's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-13. As for Santiago, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
Norco will take on University City at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santiago does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
