Despite the loss, Minnechaug Regional saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Haley Powers had 12 digs and two aces. Powers is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played.
Longmeadow's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Minnechaug Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
