Adding to the longest winning streak in Dakota Valley (9 Man) this week, Arlington beat DeSmet/Iroquois 38-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Deubrook and St. Mary played the most contested game in the league this week, with Deubrook eventually emerging with a 40-38 victory. Riley Hanson ran for 280 yards in the win.
Hanson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Dolphins beat the Cardinals.
Hanson was a beast in the backfield as Deubrook bested St. Mary.
Mads Esbensen was the best wideout in the league this week as Adolph Shepardson's team defeated Ross Flemmer's team. Esbensen racked up 1 reception for 53 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Dustin Trooien and Hanson, the Dolphins have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Trooien is tops in the league in passing with 490 yards, while Hanson has rushed for 1,251 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Arlington's Luke Weber, with 206 yards on 7 catches.
At the moment, the Cardinals are in third, while Estelline is in fourth.
Lake Preston took down Colman-Egan 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jaden Denison ran for 167 yards during the win.
