The Richmond HomeSchool Guardians's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-22 victory over Kentucky School for the Deaf on the road. That looming 64-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Richmond HomeSchool yet this season.
Josh McClary continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Robinson, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Richmond HomeSchool's win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Kentucky School for the Deaf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Robertson County at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Robertson County is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Kentucky School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to face off against N.C. School for the Deaf at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. N.C. School for the Deaf will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 641st in North Carolina, while Kentucky School for the Deaf is ranked 286th in Kentucky).
