Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christopher). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes 77-40. With the Bearcats ahead 42-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Zeigler-Royalton lost, don't look at River Freeman. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points and three steals. That was a full 40% of Zeigler-Royalton's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Lucas Rogers was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Christopher's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Zeigler-Royalton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christopher will welcome Goreville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goreville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Christopher likes a good challenge. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they will challenge Sesser-Valier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Zeigler-Royalton is facing Sesser-Valier at the right time seeing as Sesser-Valier is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
