The North Forney Falcons had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 63-59 W over Mesquite on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Zach Thompson, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kei'von Johnson, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
North Forney's victory bumped their record up to 13-17. As for Mesquite, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.
