Basketball Recap: Montesano Has No Trouble Against Tenino

Montesano posted their biggest victory since February 2, 2024 on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 56-35 margin over the Tenino Beavers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Beavers since May 7, 2021.

The victory made it two in a row for Montesano and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Tenino, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montesano will challenge Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Aberdeen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. As for Tenino, they will face off against R.A. Long at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. R.A. Long knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Tenino likes a good challenge.
