The Boles Hornets lost against the Como-Pickton Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Boles lost to the Eagles on the road by a decisive 44-29 margin.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaedence Robison, who scored six points along with seven steals. Robison hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalie Hampton, who scored seven points.
Boles struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Boles dropped their record down to 14-17 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Como-Pickton, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boles will square off against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cumby is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Como-Pickton, they will head out on the road to take on the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
