After two games on the road, Grove City is heading back home. They will take on the Westerville Central Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, Grove City lost to New Albany on the road by a decisive 46-30 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grove City has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kevin Gallagher, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Westerville Central came up short against Pickerington North on Tuesday and fell 60-49. Westerville Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grove City's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Westerville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Grove City came out on top in a nail-biter against Westerville Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 37-35. Will Grove City repeat their success, or does Westerville Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
