The Orangeville Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Morrison on Thursday as Orangeville made off with a 57-32 win. Orangeville's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Orangeville was led to victory by Laney Cahoon and Whitney Sullivan. Cahoon scored 19 points along with five steals, while Sullivan dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Cahoon's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nadalee Doyle, who scored ten points.
Orangeville's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Morrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangeville will be home for the holidays to greet East Dubuque at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morrison will be home for the holidays to greet Rockridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Rockridge is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
