They snuck past Edna Karr with a 53-49 victory. For Hahnville, this counts as revenge for the 45-36 loss Edna Karr walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.
Despite the defeat, Edna Karr saw an underclassman step up: Cass Antoine scored 18 points. Antoine scored a full 36.7% of Edna Karr's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tori Walker, who scored 10 points.
Hahnville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Edna Karr, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hahnville will take on Lutcher at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lutcher's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Hahnville's offense will have their work cut out for Hahnville. Edna Karr is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Salmen at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Salmen is ranked 81st, while Edna Karr is ranked 76th).
