After four games on the road, Stranahan is heading back home. They will take on the Fort Lauderdale Flying L at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Stranahan struggled with assists on Thursday (the Paladins had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Stranahan took a 62-48 bruising from the Paladins. Stranahan was down 57-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the defeat, Stranahan saw an underclassman step up: Christian Yeargin scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale ended up a good deal behind the Lightning on Tuesday and lost 55-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fort Lauderdale has scored all season.
Stranahan's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Fort Lauderdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.
Stranahan beat the Flying L's 61-53 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Does Stranahan have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Flying L's turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
