Queensbury and Columbia squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Queensbury had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 4-2. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Queensbury saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Wolf, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run. Lucas Rolleston was another, going 1-for-5 with one run and one double.

Queensbury's loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Columbia, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

As of now, neither Queensbury nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
