They really took it to Harvest Temple Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-30 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Westwood Baptist Academy sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
James Hawley was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Westwood Baptist Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Jones, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Westwood Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Westwood Baptist Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gospel Light Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
