This season hasn't been kind to the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, who are still winless after their 20th match. They had to suffer through a rough 73-44 loss at the hands of Military Magnet Academy. Lowcountry Leadership has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Military Magnet Academy to victory were Jaylen Waters and Jailen Williams. Waters scored 16 points along with two steals, while Williams scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Waters scored 15 or more points. Robert Perrineau was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Lowcountry Leadership's defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Military Magnet Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-15.
Lowcountry Leadership will head out on the road to take on the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Baptist Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for Military Magnet Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. Burke knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully the Eagles likes a good challenge.
