It was a proper cat-fight when  Morse faced off against Liberty Charter on Wednesday. The Morse Tigers walked away with  an   8-5  win over the Liberty Charter Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Alyssa Truby was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Truby was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  triple. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Beyah Salvador, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.  Abby Okita was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases.
Morse now  has a winning record of 3-2.
 Coincidentally, Morse and Liberty Charter will both be playing San Dieguito Academy the next time they take the field. Morse will  host San Dieguito Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday, while Liberty Charter will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on March 19th.
