 Jaylin Wright had another great game (as  he tends to do), throwing for 290 yards and five  TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards and one  score on only seven carries.  A'Torian Slaughter was another key player, gaining 95 total yards and a touchdown.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Eufaula's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Travis Scott Jr,  Jerry Hicks,  and  Kenobie Cherry, who each picked up one  sack apiece. Eufaula got some further help from  Scott Jr: he picked up  a  sack and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Eufaula's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Headland,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Looking ahead, Eufaula will face off against Carroll at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Headland, they will challenge Greenville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
