Sabino came tearing into  Friday's  game with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Benjamin Franklin Chargers with a sharp  15-4 victory. The Sabercats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.
 Avery Nielson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Nielson was even better at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Alyssa Aguirre was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Those  four  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alannis Ochoa, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 Sabino  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most four  strikeouts in six consecutive  matches.
The  win  got Sabino back to even at 9-9. As for Benjamin Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabino will welcome Safford  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. This will  be Sabino's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against ALA - Ironwood  at 3:45  p.m. ALA - Ironwood has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5  runs per game on average), something Benjamin Franklin will no doubt try to take advantage of.
