The San Jacinto Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the La Quinta Blackhawks at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. San Jacinto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 752 points over their last 11 contests.
 In what's become a running theme this season, San Jacinto gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They breezed by Citrus Hill on the road  to the tune of  68-14. With San Jacinto ahead  32-5 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
  Luv'lee Sadler continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 32 points and 13  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cayanna Ligon, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  steals.
 Meanwhile, La Quinta struggled with  assists on Thursday (Xavier Prep had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. La Quinta was outmatched by Xavier Prep on the road  and fell  51-18. La Quinta has not had much luck with Xavier Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
  Keymora Salter put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  scored six points along with nine  rebounds.
 San Jacinto has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for La Quinta, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  San Jacinto  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 41.1  rebounds per game. However, it's not like La Quinta struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 34.5  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 San Jacinto came up short against La Quinta in their previous meeting  back in November of 2019, falling  46-34. Can San Jacinto avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
