After flying high against Howell  on Tuesday, Timberland came back down to earth. The T-Wolves fell just short of the North Point Grizzlies by a score of  3-2 on Thursday. The T-Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.

  Libbie Meek had an outrageously good game for North Point as she  had 23  digs and two  aces. Those  23  digs gave  Meek a new career-high.  Emma Shryock also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Point, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
 Coming up, Timberland will be playing at home against St. Francis Borgia  at 8:30  a.m.  on Saturday. As for North Point, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Holt  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
