Providence Athletic Club had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 2-12 to make it ten. They fell 13-10 to the Augusta E Eagles. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Panthers' highest-scoring game to date.
Evan Watt was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Watt was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Sean Mcnulty made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
