After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Farmington, Skyridge was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Mountain View Bruins with a sharp  13-6 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

 Maylee Walston was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since March 8th. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Peyton Hall was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Hudson Ford, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Skyridge  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mountain View, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record  this season.
 Skyridge will square off against Pleasant Grove at 3:30  p.m.  on April 8. Skyridge's pitchers better be ready for this one: Pleasant Grove has averaged an impressive 11.5  runs per game this season. As for Mountain View, they will host Pine View  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
