It was another big night for Kyron Williams, who scored 14 points along with five assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Pierce Starlard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Felippe Weesner, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Antonio Weesner, who scored 13 points along with three blocks.
The victory got Humble Christian back to even at 7-7. As for The Connection School of Houston, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
