The Ida Bluestreaks will head out on the road to  face off against  the Clinton Redwolves  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, Ida came up short against Flat Rock  and fell  8-3. That's two games in a row now that the Bluestreaks have lost by  exactly five  runs.
 Ida saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emily Lambert, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run. Lambert also put up an  RBI, which was her first of the season.
Meanwhile,  Clinton unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost  15-7 to St. Mary Catholic Central.
  Kylinn Long and  Annabell Preston stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Long  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and one  double, while  Preston  went 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. Preston is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Mya Popkey was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ida, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-3.
 Ida might still be hurting after the  13-2 loss they got from Clinton  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Can the Bluestreaks avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
