Despite the loss, Calvary Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Taryn Wakefield scored 23 points. Wakefield scored a full 53.5% of Calvary Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brianna Staples was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Boynton Beach, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
