North Schuylkill walked away with a 64-52 victory over the Olympians on Friday. Given North Schuylkill's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Olympians are ranked 657th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Zane Zulkowski continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Keiter, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
North Schuylkill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Jim Thorpe, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
North Schuylkill will head out on the road to take on the Crimson Tide at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pottsville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Jim Thorpe will take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Grove is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
