In what's become a running theme this season, the Emery Spartans gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against North Sanpete as Emery made off with a 57-33 victory. Winning may never get old, but Emery sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Emery's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenadie Maughan, who scored 15 points along with three blocks. Maughan has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kali Jensen, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Emery has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for North Sanpete, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Emery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Sanpete also has no future games currently scheduled.
