 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jessica Schrader, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adisyn Swiderski, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Ida  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Ida pushed their record up to 5-6 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Summerfield,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Coincidentally, Ida and Summerfield will both be playing Airport the next time they take the field. The Bluestreaks will head out to face the Jets at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 9:00  p.m.
