Even though the Lehighton Indians scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, the North Schuylkill Spartans still came out on top. North Schuylkill took their matchup against the Indians 78-70. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Schuylkill.
North Schuylkill was led to victory by Zane Zulkowski and Jack Keiter. Zulkowski scored 21 points along with five assists and three steals, while Keiter scored 26 points along with seven steals. Zulkowski is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Mengel, who scored seven points.
North Schuylkill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Lehighton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
North Schuylkill will head out on the road to square off against the Crimson Tide at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lehighton, they will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
