Oak Forest Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trendan Spears out in front who scored 20 points. Spears is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Leonard Brumfield jr., who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Oak Forest Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Columbia Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Oak Forest Academy will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Silliman Institute: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Yellowjackets have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
