La Crosse Central was the  3-1 winner over Onalaska when they last played one another  on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverhawks took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers on Tuesday.

 Kaitlyn Borge paced La Crosse Central's offense, picking up 15 kills. Borge got some help from  Ellie Gillitzer and her 21 assists.  Gabriella Zeeb controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Onalaska to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Isabella Eckstein, who  had three  digs and three  aces. What's more,  Eckstein racked up 24  assists, the most she's  had  over her last seven  contests. Another player making a difference was  Zayda Lawrence, who  had 11  digs and five  aces.
La Crosse Central has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record  this season. As for Onalaska, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-8.
