 On Bullitt East's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Courtney Bass, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Holy Cross' defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-5. As for Bullitt East, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
 Holy Cross will head out on the road to  face off against  Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Pleasure Ridge Park will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Holy Cross surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bullitt East, they will be playing at home against DuPont Manual at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. DuPont Manual is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
