The Cherryvale Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. The match between Cherryvale and St. Paul wasn't particularly close, with Cherryvale falling 69-51.
Cherryvale's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Fox, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Fox hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Bricen Raida, who scored 17 points.

Cherryvale won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Yates Center at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Yates Center comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. St. Paul won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Humboldt at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. The timing is sure in Humboldt's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while St. Paul has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
