It was a good run, but the Munford Cougars unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 63-51 to Memphis Home Education Association. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Munford has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Munford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan Bell. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Murray Norman was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Munford's loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-3. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they pushed their record up to 22-12 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Munford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-33 win vs. Memphis East on the 10th.
