Video: Top 10 Games of 2018 Friday's Northern California showdown between No. 19 Folsom and No. 18 De La Salle is one of the 10 best.
A Hollywood movie was made about the program — "When the Game Stands Tall."
They own the nation's longest win streak at 151 games — never losing between 1992 and 2004 — and currently boast an almost preposterous 290-game unbeaten streak against Northern California opponents.
Their legendary coach Bob Ladouceur recently had his image turned into a bobblehead.
The Spartans of
De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) are one of the most storied football programs at any level of the sport.
And now De La Salle has partnered with CBS Sports Digital to stream nine of its 10 regular season game this season, including Friday's home showdown with
Folsom (Calif.) in the MaxPreps National Game of the Week.
Through the partnership, fans throughout the country can watch the nation's No. 18 team along with more than 40 other De La Salle sporting events over the next 10 months via the
SportsLive subscription OTT service online and via mobile and Roku apps.

All the action will be produced by
DeLaSalle TV (DLSTV).
"We are excited to partner with CBS Sports Digital to live stream our games this upcoming school year," De La Salle Vice President for Athletes Leo Lopoz said. "De La Salle is blessed to have the opportunity to make all DLSTV events available on SportsLive, both live and on demand, allowing us to expand our game distribution and reach."
Besides football, two De La Salle water polo matches will be streamed during the fall along with basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, hockey, lacrosse and volleyball games over the winter and spring seasons.
National Signing Day will also be streamed and the Spartans boast at least two blue chip recruits in linebacker
Henry To'oto'o and tight end/defensive end
Isaiah Foskey.
On Friday, they'll face the nation's No. 19 team that poses a serious threat to the program's NorCal unbeaten streak, which started back in 1992 — when George H. W. Bush was president and the end of the Cold War became official.
Folsom returns 17 starters from a team that went 16-0 last year and won the state 1-AA title. The Bulldogs feature Clemson-bound receiver
Joe Ngata and one of the West Coast's most productive quarterbacks in
Kaiden Bennett, who accounted for 5,549 yards and 73 touchdowns in 2017.
"They're really good," De La Salle coach Just Alumbaugh said of Folsom.
"They have a lot of team speed, great receivers, a great quarterback and
the line and defense is super solid. … They're every bit as good as
they're cracked up to be."
De La Salle counters with eight returning starters on defense, including To'oto'o and 3-star linebacker
Jhasi Wilson, lockdown cornerback
Amir Wallace and brigade of young and athletic skill offensive players, led by sophomore quarterback
Dorian Hale and junior running back
Shamar Garrett.
Pat O'Rourke will continue to provide the commentary for all DLSTV live streaming events, along with analysis from Damin Esper.

Folsom, coached by Kris Richardson, has gone a combined 131-13 with three state titles over the last decade.
