Even though Northside Christian has not done well against Indian Rocks Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Northside Christian walked away with a 47-38 win over Indian Rocks Christian.
Northside Christian relied on the efforts of Sydney White, who scored 14 points, and Rilee Knight, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Hernando Christian Academy took a serious blow against Academy at the Lakes on Tuesday, falling 43-12. Hernando Christian Academy has struggled against Academy at the Lakes recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Azadee Mottahedeh, who scored 5 points. Another player making a difference was Emma Miles, who scored 2 points along with 3 steals.
Northside Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Hernando Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Northside Christian's way against Hernando Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January as Northside Christian made off with a 47-21 victory.
