Lake-Lehman waltzed into their contest  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Hanover Area Hawkeyes 9-1. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six  runs or more this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Chris Sholtis, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Will Jenkins also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Lake-Lehman pushed their record up to 6-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Hanover Area,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake-Lehman is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Wyoming Seminary College Prep  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hanover Area will  face off against  rival Wyoming Area  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
