Meanwhile, Bullock County's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They skirted past Charles Henderson 75-72. The victory was just what Bullock County needed coming off of a 68-39 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Trevone Palmer, who dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Anthony Simpson, who scored 22 points.
Tallassee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Bullock County, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Monday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy contest: Tallassee haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 2.7 turnovers per game. It's a different story for Bullock County, though, as they've been averaging 19.7 per game.
