The Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets stacked a 19th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over Silliman Institute. The win was familiar territory for Oak Forest Academy who now have eight in a row.
Leonard Brumfield jr. was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Freche, who scored 12 points.
Oak Forest Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Silliman Institute, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
