The South San Francisco Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Jefferson Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
South San Francisco has not lost a match since January 17th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Woodside finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time South San Francisco has been dealt a draw since back in December of 2023.
Their goal came courtesy of
Angel Ramirez, who's now up to 15 this season.
Meanwhile, Jefferson has not won a game since January 17th, a trend which continued on Friday. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Capuchino.
Meanwhile, South San Francisco's record is now 12-4-2. Meanwhile, Jefferson's record is now 3-9-3.
Everything went South San Francisco's way against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in January as South San Francisco made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for South San Francisco since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
