Fayetteville and Reeltown are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Fayetteville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Woodland, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Wolves put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 18-2 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Ethan Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
