Everything went their way against Fleming as Eastern Montgomery made off with  an  18-4 victory. The  win was just what Eastern Montgomery needed coming off of  an  18-8 defeat in their prior  game.
  Coltin Conner made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks). Conner was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Austin Tate and  Hunter Howard did most of the damage at the plate:  Tate  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Howard  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Jones, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Craig County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Eastern Montgomery, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
