Washington has struggled against Greene Central recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Greene Central to victory were Arlisha Mason and An'nysha Wooten. Mason scored 15 points, while Wooten scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamille Bethea, who scored eight points.
Washington's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Greene Central, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will take on North Pitt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Pitt has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 681 points over their last ten contests. As for Greene Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Craven at 6:00 p.m. West Craven will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Greene Central surely won't give up without a fight.
