Fowlerville dropped their record down to 15-10 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell  7-3 to the Holt Rams.  Fowlerville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Avery Borg, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Holt, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.1 runs over those games.
On Holt's side,  Kara Sandberg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Marlie Rehm was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run and five  RBI.  Eeva Luoma was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Fowlerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holt, they will welcome Grand Ledge  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
