The match between them and Agathos Classical wasn't particularly close, with Dayspring Academy falling 75-57. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dayspring Academy in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.
Despite the loss, Dayspring Academy still got an impressive performance from John-Michael Martin, who shot 8-for-8 from downtown and dropped a triple-double on 29 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. That was a full 50.9% of Dayspring Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jordan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
Dayspring Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Agathos Classical, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Dayspring Academy will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Agathos Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
