The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Ballard, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Oakwood's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Trinity School of Texas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Oakwood will square off against Fruitvale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Fruitvale is ranked 1383rd, while Oakwood is ranked 1404th). Trinity School of Texas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Longview Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
