While losing is never fun, Liberty can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Pittsburg is ranked 88th).
Liberty's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4-2. As for Pittsburg, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1-2.
Liberty didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw vs. Heritage on the 9th. Pittsburg has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Antioch on the 9th.
