Hahnville has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Salmen Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hahnville will be strutting in after a victory while Salmen will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Hahnville strolled past Newman with points to spare, taking the game 46-28.
Meanwhile, Salmen was the victim of a rough 68-47 defeat at the hands of Northshore on Tuesday. Salmen has not had much luck with Northshore recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Treasure Mccall, who scored 13 points. She scored a full 27.7% of Salmen's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kendal Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 steals.
Their wins bumped Hahnville to 5-2 and Newman to 2-2.
Hahnville strolled past Salmen when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a score of 54-39. Will Hahnville repeat their success, or does Salmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
